Request for proposals: Emergency Shelter Grants

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The Colorado Department of Local Affairs, Division of Housing (DOH) is requesting proposals for its 2011-2012 Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG) funding for homeless shelters, transitional housing providers, homeless prevention programs or local government passthrough programs in the State of Colorado. Applicants must have a non-profit 501(c) (3) designation or be a unit of local government to be eligible. Approximately $946,000 in Emergency Shelter Grant funding will be available on a competitive basis to meet homeless shelter and service needs. On average an agency receives $15,000 in grant funds.
