$597,000 awarded in Larimer County

The Department of Local Affairs has announced that $597,000.00 in HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds has been awarded to Larimer County for the following project:

The Loveland Housing Development Corporation (LHDC) has been awarded a HOME grant for $597,000 to continue the funding of the Larimer Home Improvement Program (LHIP), a Single-Family, Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation Program. These grant funds will be used to assist with the repair and rehabilitation of 42 homes by providing low-interest loans to homeowners earning less than 80% AMI. Historically those assisted by the program have fallen under the 50% AMI level. These HOME funds will be used in Larimer County (including the cities of Loveland and Fort Collins) and in the town of Milliken in Weld County (a new pilot program). This rehabilitation program has received funding from the Colorado Division of Housing since 1997 and has completed the rehabilitation of over 260 homes.
