PUBLIC NOTICE AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Colorado Department of Local Affairs is required to submit to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development on June 29, 2011 the state's Annual Performance Reports for the 2010 Consolidated Action Plan, the State-administered "Small Cities" Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for federal fiscal years 2005 through 2010, the HOME Investment Partnership (Title II) Program and the Emergency Shelter Grants (ESG) Program covering the period of April 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011.
A copy of the complete 2010 Consolidated Annual Performance Report for these programs will be available for public review during regular office hours at 1313 Sherman Street, Room 500, Denver, between June 13, 2011 through June 27, 2011. The Report is also available on DOLA’s website at www.colorado.gov/dola/cdh.
If special accommodations are needed, please notify the Colorado Department of Local Affairs so that the appropriate aids or alternate formats can be made available. The public comment period is necessary to provide Colorado citizens, public agencies and other interested parties the opportunity to express their views on the state's efforts to address housing and community development needs through the use of federal and state funds.
A public hearing has been scheduled for the purpose of accepting comments on the performance of the state of Colorado on administering these grants. The Colorado Department of Local Affairs will conduct a hearing in Denver on Friday, June 24, 2011, from 1:00pm-2:00pm at the State Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 518.
