Fulltime position in Thornton, Monday through Friday. Individual will manage internal and external communications, public relations, and marketing with key stakeholders, the media and the community-at-large. Responsible for developing and implementing a strategic PR plan, overseeing agency website, creating and managing media lists, developing agency publications, and serving as the agency / community / media liaison. Requirements include Bachelor’s degree in related field (communications, public relations, marketing, or journalism), a minimum of 2 years related experience (communications, public relations), or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires publicity experience, advanced knowledge of website maintenance (including HTML and web-based tools and processes), and excellent presentation, written and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required. Experience with Raiser’s Edge is a plus. Ability to travel locally and work occasionally on evenings or weekends is required.
